- If you are unable to attend your class due to an extenuating circumstance, we will issue a voucher for a future swim session to be used within one year. The other exception to this is that if you decide to become a member we will subtract what you paid for lessons already this year from the price of your membership. You have until the second week of swim lessons to turn your lesson payment into a membership. All of the above circumstances MUST be arranged with our pool Director.
- MASA pays the charge card processing fees when you register online, but if you require a refund you will be charged the reversal fee for the refund.
- All evening and Saturday classes meet once a week for 8 weeks. Summer daytime lessons are every week day for 2 weeks.
- Non-members must pay for their classes before a spot will be held for them. You can now register and pay online. You can pay in person with credit, cash or check. If you call we can check availability for you, but we cannot hold your spot until you have paid.
- Severe weather policy – We will cancel swim lessons whenever the Marathon School District cancels school. We do not cancel lessons for other school closings that are not weather related. For Saturday lessons or in the case where Marathon is off school anyway please watch our Facebook page or subscribe to our text alerts.
- Note: as children progress through the levels please be aware that they won’t pass the level that they are in every time. It is normal to stay in some levels for more than one session. The American Red Cross has criteria based on skills and age that we use to determine if a student is ready for the next level.
