What is MASA?
MASA is an acronym that stands for Marathon Area Swim Association. MASA is a nonprofit organization that provides a community pool with a pleasant and safe water environment for fitness, education and recreation.
Do I need to bring my own towel?
Yes, MASA does not provide a towel service.
Do I need to be a member to use the pool?
NO! MASA offers daily passes, and other services to people who are looking for less services than a membership provides.
MASA offers many opportunities for individuals to learn how to swim including preschool, progressive, adult, and private swim lessons. MASA has life jackets for all sizes, and also has a lifeguard on duty at all times.
What equipment does MASA provide?
We have all kinds of fitness equipment for swimmers to use including: kickboards, flippers, pull buoys, dumbbells, ……
Can I use the pool while pregnant?
We welcome all pregnant mommies! However, always consult your physician before starting any exercise program.
When do you offer swim lessons?
MASA offers swim lessons year-round. Be on the lookout for when registration opens as classes do fill up during the busy seasons. Head to the Swim Lessons page-
Do you provide locks for the lockers?
No, but you are welcome to bring one to use for the time that you are in the pool. You may also check your valuables in at the front desk.
